1.Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Description
A Facilities Maintenance Manager will lead and manage maintenance activities for all facilities and equipment utilized during daily operations in accordance with recommended and recognized international maintenance standards to ensure asset longevity and optimal availability of all building infrastructure, and deliver continuous improvement with the maintenance operation in an efficient and cost effective manner while ensuring compliance to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the continuous development of operation and maintenance staff identifying areas where additional training would be beneficial to enhance efficiency and/or effectiveness of staff.
- Compile lists of necessary spare parts and consumables for critical equipment ensuring that sufficient quantities are kept in stock in order to execute repairs in the shortest possible time frame.
Qualifications

- Have a Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- Degree in Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or a closely related subject.
- Experience in a similar capacity handling a large industrial facility OR higher secondary level education.
- 8+ yrs engineering maintenance experience in a management/supervisory role within a large industrial facility, ideally within the aviation industry.
- Must be familiar with NFPA building construction and safety codes.
- Must have an in depth knowledge of High Voltage installations, HVAC systems and large Chilled water production facilities.
- Must possess excellent computer skills in MS Office, AutoCAD and be familiar with computerized maintenance Management systems.
- Good communication skills in English.

2.Engineering Facilities Maintenance Controller

Job Description
An Engineering Facilities Maintenance Controller will oversee all maintenance activities to ensure they meet company standards efficiently. Propose improvements in maintenance processes and ensure workplace safety are adhered to effectively. Coordinating maintenance tasks to maintain continuous operation of facilities and installations, safeguarding business operations from interruptions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Maintenance Officers and technical staff carrying out facility operation, maintenance, and repair duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed within scheduled time while maintaining required quality standards. Contribute to the management of manpower effectively to ensure sufficient 24/7 coverage is available throughout all facilities.
- Control and monitor process management systems throughout EK Engineering to ensure all control systems are properly maintained and working effectively and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough system surveys of all Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical equipment and control systems in the entire facility, assigning rectification tasks where required to ensure all equipment is available and will perform as required.
- Monitor utility usage in key areas throughout EK Engineering and raise any concerns to the management. Identify opportunities to control utility consumption and recommend processes to achieve this. Analyse the energy, water consumption and waste to propose clean and low-energy solutions that would reduce the overall consumption and promote sustainability.
- Support in maintaining service level agreements for all the equipment to ensure it is renewed on time. Continuously look for improvements in the scope and reduce cost to the company while supporting the sustainability approach.
- Manage assigned projects and provide input on design deliverables, construction progress and equipment selection in order to ensure compliance with initial specifications, reliability and optimal maintainability of installations and equipment leading to the successful delivery of the projects.
- Ensure all Maintenance Service Requests (SR) and Turn around Work Orders (WO) are monitored, reviewed, and actioned in a timely manner and as per set processes.
- Evaluate the performance of third-party vendors and contractors to ensure they meet contractual obligations and performance standards. Analyse statistics and other data to assess progress and service levels, including workload and quality performance according to KPIs.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plan for facilities maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations during emergencies and unexpected events.
- Maintain mutual understanding with third Party Suppliers and Contractors to ensure all company requirements are met in order to ensure a seamless operation.
Qualifications
- Have 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Other.
- Have a Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
- Degree In Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation and Electronic Engineering.
- Practical work experience in the field of building services or process control systems within a large industrial environment.
- Proven record of independently maintaining and repairing low voltage control systems.
- Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of extra low voltage control systems and Programmable Logic Controller.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access.
- Knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing for detailed review of deliverables of these specialities in the frame of existing or future EK ENGG projects.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the existing business reporting eco-system, ensuring all reports are running and delivering their expected value to the business. Work with the business unit to correct any issues that arise with day-to-day reporting.
- Responsible for working directly with decision makers and end users to understand and define possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements to support departmental KPI?s and objectives for the next 12 month period. Maintain a long-term development pipeline based on these requirements.

4. Licensed Aircraft Engineer II – Line Maintenance Support

Job Description
Licensed Aircraft Engineer II (Line Maintenance Support) will carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assigned zones/aircraft are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications such as Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices and Engineering Procedures Manual etc. Ensure that personal approvals/licences are valid and applicable to aircraft types. Ensure that safety briefings are carried out with your team prior to each task.
- Ensure all off-aircraft tasks i.e. spares handling, robberies, hold items etc. are handled in compliance with company procedures and that the associated paperwork is complete to ensure full transparency. Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialised tooling where required. Ensure that trouble shooting procedures/tools used for fault rectification are carried out in a cost effective and efficient manner.
- Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed by immediate supervisor. These should be done in accordance with AMM, IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentation to complete the task.
- Ensure that all activities performed are carried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and in adherence to company procedures, highlighting an deficiencies/requirements (whether for aircraft or hangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools in support of the overall quality improvement process and actively participate in propagating and enhancing the Group safety culture. Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained.
- Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlight any potential operational issues. Ensure that relevant reports are related to service delays, incidents and accidents are completed in detail including the identification of issues that led to the event so that rectification can be sought through short term maintenance planning.
- Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting, interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place for assigned staff members in accordance with company procedures.
- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements. Ensure approvals are obtained within 3.5 months of completion of course.
- Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation, including diversionary airfields to assist in recovery process of an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and/or aircraft component manufacturer facilities to act as an EK rep to oversee final assembly Emirates aircraft, supervise outsource maintenance work and assist in the acceptance/delivery process.
- Ensure prompt attendance to all allocated aircraft checks, arrival/departures with the intent to maximize the oppurtunities during ground time and avoid operational delays/disruptions.
Qualifications
- Engineering Maintenance: 8+ Years
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Degree in Engg – Aeronautical subjects/Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Tech Engineering or Maintenance Engineering Licence.
- 2+ Years as a certifying staff.
- Must have UAE GCAA/ICAO Type II/EASA Part 66 license endorsed with 2 aircraft types. Knowledge/skills:
- Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards. EFTA (Emirates Flight Training Academy):
- Must have UAE GCAA/ICAO Type II/EASA Part 66 license rated in B1.1 and/or B1.2 categories and/or B2 category, in addition to company approvals. Rating in at least 1 EFTA aircraft type desirable, plus 9+ years experience in aviation maintenance.
