Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders within Research and Development as well as Operations, along with product management to assess the potential value and risks associated with business problems that have the potential to be solved using machine learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques.
  • Develop an exploratory data analysis approach to verify the initial hypothesis associated with potential Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning use cases.
  • Document your approach, thinking and results in standard approaches to allow other data scientists to collaborate with you on this work.
  • Prepare your final trained model and develop a validation test set for QA.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research covering Advanced Statistics, Machine learning and AI.
  • Experience with the latest techniques in natural language processing including transformers, fine-tuning LLMs, measuring/benchmarking and deploying LLMs with tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, LLAMA/Mistral and OpenAI, vector databases.
  • 1+ years of hands-on data science/AI experience, using typical machine learning and data science tools including pandas, scikit-learn, keras, nltk, and TensorFlow/PyTorch, GPU.
  • Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working with Apache Spark™ and large-scale distributed datasets.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences is a plus.

2. Materials Program Manager

This is a hybrid position. As a Materials Program Manager at Hinge Health, you’ll play a critical role in enabling our mission by ensuring our hardware products are available, scalable and resilient as the business grows.

Salary:The annual salary range for this position is $116,000-$174,000

  • Own materials planning for all hardware products including kits, accessories, and consumables
  • Develop and manage supply plans to meet demand forecasts while maintaining optimal safety stock levels

  • Manage inventory health across internal and external locations, including excess and obsolescence mitigation

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems like NetSuite preferred
  • Strong experience in materials planning within hardware or consumer electronics
  • Proven ability to manage through high demand churn and frequent change
  • Clear communicator who works well across technical and non-technical teams
  • Advanced Excel/data analytics skills (inventory modeling, safety stock calculations)
  • Experience in consumer electronics, medical devices, or connected hardware supply chains 
  • Experience supporting Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and global supplier networks 
  • Familiarity with healthcare-regulated environments 
  • Proven track record managing materials through rapid demand growth and volatility

3. Enrollment Specialist (Patient Facing Role)

This position focuses on guiding patients through the enrollment and scheduling process. This is an excellent entry point if you are transitioning from customer service into healthcare

Salary: Not officially listed but estimated around $16 to $20 per hour based on similar roles
